With the vision to create multidisciplinary best citizens to Suit Local, State, National & International needs by providing excellent educational system, IAME started as the first Institute in Marathwada providing an broad array of Aircraft Maintenance courses. The institute is approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) New Delhi, vide Letter No. Q3 - IAME/AU/4277 dated 08/08/2008 under category 'G' Training School, to impart ab-initio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering for obtaining Basic Licence in Mechanical Stream (Aeroplanes & Power Plants) comprising of Light Aeroplane (LA), Heavy Aeroplane (HA), Piston Engine (PE), Jet Engine (JE) and Avionics Stream comprising of Electrical System (ES),Instrument System (IS), Radio Navigation (RN).

After successful completion of 3 years AME course and passing D.G.C.A. (BAMEL) Paper I, II and III Mechanical Stream (HA & JE) and Avionics Stream (ES,IS & RN), students can join as trainee AME or equivalent posts in the reputed Government/Private/Foreign Airlines and Aviation Organizations. 100% placement assistance will be provided by the institute.
