Practical Training

• 1.Practical Training at actual Aircraft Maintenance environment:

  The regulatory requirement of DGCA as laid down in CAR 147 (Basic) states that at least 30 % of Practical training shall be conducted at actual Aircraft Maintenance environment. To fulfill the above said requirement, the IAME has entered into a long term agreement with Indamer Aviation Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai, Air India, Mumbai, and AI Engineering Services Limited, Nagpur and Deccan Charters Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore for imparting practical training to our students. The duration of practical training will be of 288 hours which will be covered in different phases.

• 2.Practical Training at IAME:

  The Institute has its own aircrafts in operational condition & well qualified/ experienced instructors to provide practical training at its campus. The detail of aircraft possessed by the institute:

  • I.Learjet 24 Aeroplane

    Heavy body, pressurized, twin jet engine, passenger aeroplane.

  • II.Zenith CH 2000 Aeroplane:

    Light body, fitted with single piston engine.

  • III.Fully equipped workshop, to provide hand on practice to the students on maintenance of aeroplanes, are:
    • General Engineering Shop
    • Composite Lab
    • Instrument Lab
    • Electrical Lab
    • Radio Navigation Lab
